Reach stacker means a powered reach stacker that incorporates an attachment for lifting and lowering a shipping container.
This unit applies to the activities of a person operating a reach stacker greater than 3 tonnes capacity that incorporates an attachment for lifting, moving and travelling with a shipping container
A person performing this work is required to hold a reach stacker high risk work (HRW) licence.
This unit requires a person operating a reach stacker to plan work, conduct routine checks, prepare reach stacker operations, operate reach stacker, travel reach stacker and mobile container, and shut down and secure reach stacker.
